Pink Slip e-Safety Check Inspections

NSW Car Registration e-Safety Inspection

e-Safety checks also called Pink Slips are required for vehicles 5 years and older before the car can be registered. This is a requirement to ensure that your vehicle meets minimum safety requirements to be registered in NSW.

Our certified mechanics will carry out your e-safety check and issue your green slip in accordance with requirements.

What is a Pink Slip?

A pink slip is a safety inspection report that we issue as an authorised mechanic to prove that your vehicle has passed the required roadworthy requirements for registration renewal in NSW. Vehicles that are more than 5 years old require a safety inspection as a condition of registration renewal.

  • Engine Condition and Functioning
  • Exhaust System
  • Seatbelts
  • Lights
  • Brakes and Brake Fluid

If all aspects of these areas are in good working order, your vehicle should pass the inspection with flying colours.
